“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.”
– Margaret Mead
Over the weekend we had the pleasure of joining over 30 volunteers to be a part of the Tacoma Cleanup organized by Colored Cannabis Collective, which was their third and largest cleanup!
The cleanup started at 6th Avenue at 11a.m. and ended at People’s Park at 2p.m. where we were met by a family who serves the homeless Tacoma community every weekend. It was truly a magical moment of seeing how much the Tacoma community gives back.
We are extremely grateful to be a part of the Tacoma Cleanup as well as being one of the sponsors. Many of the volunteers were budtenders, cannabis enthusiasts, trimmers, growers, canna-photographers and even cannabis influencers! These volunteer events are open to the 21+ community and we would love to see more volunteers participate.
Giving back to the community is one of the ways we enjoy living our best lives!
Stay tuned for more volunteer stories.
